Charges dismissed in incident at downtown restaurant

Charges have been dismissed against a Buffalo man accused of reckless endangerment and criminal mischief in connection with a incident at a Main Street restaurant.

Mark Stetter, 45, of the Marine Drive apartments, had been accused after an individual tossed fliers printed on copy paper around the downtown restaurant in April. Some of the papers landed in a light fixture and caught fire, sending burning fragments onto patrons, a report said.

A Buffalo City Court judge dismissed the case after finding the information accusing Stetter of the crimes to be defective.
