Laser, pellet gun apparently used to shatter moving vehicle’s window

Criminals apparently used two weapons – a pellet gun and a laser beam – to shatter the window of a moving vehicle in the city’s South Park-Louisiana area near downtown early Monday morning.

The motorist told South District Police that she was driving near the intersection of Louisiana and Fulton streets at about 12:45 a.m. Monday, when she saw a laser focused on her vehicle’s rear passenger-side window. The window shattered, and she later noticed BB pellets inside the vehicle.

An unknown male apparently wielded the pellet gun, and several males were seen near the basketball courts in the area at the time of the incident.
