Buffalo police arrest a Town of Tonawanda man in stalking

A 64-year-old Town of Tonawanda man arrested by Buffalo police on felony weapon and stalking charges just before midnight on Sunday remained in custody at the Erie County Holding Center late Monday night. Shaun P. McCleary was arrested shortly after he allegedly left the Buffalo home of a woman on St. Lawrence Avenue late Sunday. He was charged with a felony count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon after police reported finding he had a handgun. He is also being held pending further court proceedings on a fourth-degree stalking charge.
