The Rural Outreach Center will hold a dedication ceremony at it new facility from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at 730 Olean Road/Route 16, East Aurora.
The event will include a picnic dinner and a tour of the new ROC building.
The ROC is a non-profit Christian organization committed to helping individuals and families living in rural communities to overcome poverty through multiple strategies. It offers immediate assistance for community members in urgent need while also providing programs – with community partners – to empower individuals to change behaviors and achieve a more stable life situation through financial coaching, job preparation, literacy training and more.

• A meeting of the East Aurora School Board begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the superintendent’s office at the Middle School/Main Street Building, 430 Main St.
• The annual summer street festival and sidewalk sale will stretch throughout the village from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
More than 100 vendors will be featured, as well as Irish dancers, old-fashioned cars, chalk murals, business lessons for young entrepreneurs and vintage Fisher-Price toys on sale at Pine Street Immanuel Lutheran Church.
