Fredonia woman accused of possessing heroin

A Fredonia woman faces misdemeanor drug counts after she was found passed out behind the wheel of a car on Allen Street early Saturday morning.

Rachel E. Banach, 24, was spotted by police at 3:30 a.m. near the corner of Allen and Elmwood Avenue, according to a Buffalo police report.

Banach had a needle, 10 bags with heroin residue and a spoon with heroin residue in the car, the police report said. She was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
