Five Star Bank named Judy Seil business banking unit credit manager. Previously, Seil served as Monroe County’s director of planning and development, and was recently named the 2015 Economic Developer of the Year by the New York State Economic Development Council. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Nazareth College.


Local dentist Dr. Niusha Zohur of Aspire Family Dental recently became an American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine Diplomate. ABDSM is the board for the leading national organization for dentists who treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy.


Rural/Metro Medical Services’ Eric Smith, an advanced emergency medical technician, was chosen as the recipient of the 2015 Wyoming-Erie Regional Emergency Medical Services Council Advanced Life Support Provider of the Year Award. Nominees are selected by the council from the EMS providers in Erie and Wyoming counties. Regional council winners are then considered at a statewide level by the state Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
