SOUTH DAYTON – A motorcyclist was charged with driving while intoxicated after striking a deer on Route 83 in Chautauqua County late Wednesday night, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies reported.
A deputy responding to a report of a suspicious male walking along the side of the road in the Town of Villenova shortly before midnight located Cory M. Keeler, 33, of Cherry Creek.
Deputies learned that Keeler had been operating a motorcycle on Route 83 when he struck a deer, causing the motorcycle to leave the road and go into a ditch.
