A Buffalo man was charged with fleeing from police officers Sunday night after they allegedly saw him leaving a fenced-in driveway on the West Side and asked him to stop, authorities said.
Shamir L. Suddith, 27, of Landon Street was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and third-degree criminal trespass.
Central District officers said Suddith was seen leaving a home in the first block of Barton Street at 11:29 p.m. and ignored officers’ commands to stop.
A .38 caliber revolver was recovered behind a home on California Street where Suddith was seen running, police said. A vehicle that left the scene was located on Hampshire Street at Lawrence Place and was impounded, police said.
