Batavia’s city manager appointed to executive panel of state organization

BATAVIA – City Manager Jason R. Molino has been appointed to the executive committee of the New York State Conference of Mayors and Municipal Officials.

Conference President Richard Milne, mayor of Honeoye Falls, called Molino a “recognized leader and innovator in the field of local governmental administration. NYCOM will clearly benefit from his energy and ideas.”

Molino, who begins his one-year term immediately, is the only member of the committee who is not a mayor and he will represent NYCOM’s affiliate organizations.

In 2014, Molino was the recipient of the Local Government Excellence Award for Strategic Leadership and Governance from the International City and County Management Association. He was hired as Batavia’s manager in 2006, after serving as Port Chester’s assistant manager for two years.
