Visitors robbed following a night at the casino

Two out-of-town visitors were robbed, apparently at gunpoint, on College Street about 5 a.m. Saturday after a night at the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, Central District police said.

One of the men, a visitor from Watertown, was robbed of $2,000, and the other, from Liberty, lost $500.

They told police that they recognized the robber as a man they had seen in the casino. He approached them with what appeared to be a gun and told them to “drop the cash.” He fled in an unknown direction after grabbing the money.
