South Buffalo will host its first ever Christian Film Festival at Bread of Life Church, 1638 South Park Ave., from August 16-19.
The festival will feature more than 50 films from around the world from more than 10 countries. Feature films, short films, documentaries, music videos, and film trailers will be screened.
Opening night will feature the Buffalo premiere of “Adrenaline” starring John Schneider, Michael Rosander, Myke Holmes, and Buffalo’s own Charlene Amoia, among others. The film will begin at 6 p.m.
The submission process began in November 2014 when more than 90 films were submitted, and eventually more than 50 films were chosen to show.
Walk-up registration begins August 16 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. for $45 for all four days. Individual blocks of two hours are $4. Registration is open online at www.GLCFF.com at a discounted rate of $35 until Aug. 9.
