LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man who prosecutors said was part of an auto theft operation centered on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation, was sentenced Thursday by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon to three to six years in prison.
It’s the third trip to prison for Chadd G. White, 32, of Ashland Avenue. This time, he was sentenced after pleading guilty to third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and flunking out of the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment. He had pleaded guilty in the March 11, 2012 theft of a vehicle from in front of a bar on Buffalo Avenue in the Falls. Two other men also were convicted in the case.
White’s previous felonies include burglary and auto-related grand larceny in Niagara County in 2003, and burglary and assault in Genesee County in 2004.
