Buffalo police officers on routine patrol Wednesday afternoon in the Riverside neighborhood arrested a Baxter Street man who they said possessed marijuana and heroin.
Northwest District officers Joseph Acquino and Justin Tedesco arrested Jeremy Capo, 20, about 1:30 p.m. on Ontario Street at Riverside Avenue, according to a report. Police said they noticed Capo reaching into his shorts while sitting in the back seat of a vehicle.
Capo allegedly handed over a sandwich bag of marijuana. While he was being placed under arrest, an additional quantity of marijuana and 10 glassine envelopes of heroin were recovered, police said.
Capo was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
