Wrong turn results in drug arrest at Rainbow Bridge

Two men who said they made a wrong turn and ended up on the bridge to Canada were charged with narcotics possession Monday when they tried to return to the U.S. on the Rainbow Bridge.

David M. Postiglione and his passenger Sean A. Siracusa, both 20, no address released by police, were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance outside of its original container.

Niagara Falls Police reported that the two told a customs officer at the Rainbow Bridge that they made a wrong term and did not intend to enter Canada. A K-9 dog had a positive alert for possible narcotics and agents found marijuana and a marijuana bowl, as well as a small plastic bag with 10 Xanax pills, a controlled narcotic, which the men said they had planned to split.
