Niagara Falls woman harassed, then has car stolen

NIAGARA FALLS – A Niagara Falls woman said she stopped her car in the 600 block of 20th Street on Monday evening to visit with her son on the porch and was confronted by a group of women who began verbally harassing her.

The woman said she retreated into the house with her son and, as she attempted to get inside, one of the women threw a broom at her, nearly striking her.

The same suspect then jumped into the 2008 Pontiac Vibe she had been driving, which belonged to another woman who corroborated her story to police. The car contained her cell phone, a wallet with $120 and a collection of CDs valued at $200.

Three witnesses told police that the female suspect appeared to be intoxicated and ignored requests to leave the victim alone.
