Getzville motorist arrested in drunken-driving crackdown

SILVER CREEK – A 22-year-old Getzville motorist who failed to stop at a stop sign in the Chautauqua County Town of Hanover was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Kimberly M. Lewandowski was pulled over shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday on Alleghany Road by deputies working on a state STOP DWI assignment. She was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated, including the aggravated DWI charge because her blood-alcohol content was 0.18 percent or greater; deputies didn’t identify the reading.

Lewandowski, who also was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, was released on tickets to appear in Hanover Town Court.
