Falls man charged with aggravated drunken driving

NIAGARA FALLS – State Police charged a Niagara Falls man with aggravated driving while intoxicated after he was found to be driving with a blood alcohol level more than two and a half times the legal limit.

Curtis L. Cheeley, 54, was stopped by troopers on Ontario Avenue in the Falls and additionally charged with failure to use the designated lane and no seatbelt.

Police said his blood alcohol level was 0.21 percent.
