Buffalo man accused of shoplifting Fitbit, bike lock

A Buffalo man is accused of stealing a Fitbit activity tracker and a bike lock Saturday afternoon from a Delaware Avenue department store.

The store’s loss prevention officer told Northwest District police that Kyle Donhauser, 24, of Crestwood Avenue allegedly used a pair of scissors to cut open the boxes and placed the items inside his trousers before leaving the store.

Police said Donhauser returned to the store where he was arrested and the stolen items were recovered.

Donhauser was charged with petit larceny.
