Train traffic stalled in Niagara Falls after car gets stuck on railroad tracks

NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Falls Police were able to warn off train traffic early Friday after a car became stuck on railroad tracks at the intersection of Hyde Park Boulevard and Buffalo Avenue.

A 24-year-old Lewiston man and his girlfriend had driven over the tracks about 2 a.m. when the 2014 Nissan became stuck halfway across the raised tracks. Two towing companies were summoned before the car was successfully moved from the tracks, police said.
