Police seek driver of vehicle on Dunkirk hit-and-run case

DUNKIRK – The driver of a vehicle that struck a Dunkirk police car and a parked car on Leopard Street Friday is being sought by police.

During a police pursuit on Main near Second streets, the vehicle hit the police car, causing minor damage, then was followed to a driveway in the 600 block of Leopard Street, where it hit the parked car, police said. The driver fled on foot and has not been located, police added.
