MOORE, Paul Edward

MOORE - Paul Edward Died July 2, 2015, Walnut Ridge Memory Care, Greensburg, PA. Born October 17, 1933 in Central City, KY to the late William Moore and the late Beulah Mae Conway; predeceased by former wife, Ann E. Rider Moore of Angola, NY; dearest and most beloved father to: daughters, Kathleen M. Emhof (John), Laura J. Whittinghill (Alex), Janet L. Moore and son: Charles W. Moore (Sherri); dear brother of Mildred Louise London of Milton FL, Emma Jean Reed of Evansville, IN and the late William Moore and Morton Ray Moore, both of Evansville, IN; cherished grandfather and "Papaw" to W. A. "Alex" Whittinghill IV, Andrew D. Emhof (Jennie) and Robert A. Emhof; also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Served as Staff Sergeant in US Army stationed in Germany during Korean conflict 1955-1956. Attended Purdue University, graduated with BS in Mechanical Engineering from Evansville College, Evansville, IN 1961, avid fisherman, softball player and boating enthusiast who loved raising his family on Lake Erie. Accomplished Automotive Engineer for General Motors (1961-1979), Volkswagon of America (1979-1985), Chrysler Corporation, Belvidere Assembly Plant, Belvidere, Illinois where he retired as Regional Area Manager, 1991. Proud Master Mason of Northeast Lodge #995 and a Noble in the Shrine. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC.
