Clymer man charged with aggravated DWI in Leandra’s Law case

FRENCH CREEK – In a Leandra’s Law case, a Clymer man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxcicated after being stopped on Route 474 in the Town of French Creek about 6:40 p.m. Friday, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Matthew L. Kern was driving drunk with a person younger than 16 in the vehicle, deputies said. He also was charged with speeding, unregistered motor vehicle, unsafe tire, refusal to take a breath test and driving while intoxicated, deputies added. The suspect’s age was not listed.
