Lockport Palace Theatre sets Bootleggers Ball

LOCKPORT – The Bootleggers Ball, a Roaring Twenties-themed event that will benefit the Historic Palace Theatre, will be held in front of the theater, 2 East Ave., from 6 to 9 p.m. July 15.

A street party is scheduled with a wide range of entertainment, including music by Jonesie and the Cruisers, food vendors including Scripts Cafe, a beer tent for those of legal drinking age, and a costume contest for the best flapper and bootlegger in town.

Inside, the party continues with gambling tables and spotlight performances from the cast of the Curtain Up production of “Guys and Dolls,” which runs at the Palace from July 9-19.

Tickets for the party are $10.
