Boston man accused of damaging car he wasn’t allowed to drive

A 34-year-old Boston man who wasn’t allowed to use his father’s car repeatedly jumped on its hood, causing significant damage, State Police reported Thursday.

Jamie Musser was charged with a felony count of criminal mischief and a violation count of harassment after troopers responded Tuesday to a report of a domestic argument on Omphalius Road.

Troopers learned that Musser wasn’t allowed to use his father’s car. He became combative and starting throwing things in the house, then went outside and jumped repeatedly on the car hood, according to police.

Following arraignment in Boston Town Court, Musser is being held in the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $1,500 bail. A stay-away order of protection also was issued by the court.
