JAROS, Stanley Walter

JAROS - Stanley Walter Age 95, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015, after a brief illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 9, 1920, he was the son of the late Joseph and Katherine Jaros. He was pre-deceased by siblings Daniel, Walter, Wanda, and Amelia. A World War II Veteran, Stanley served in the European Theater and participated in the Battle of the Bulge, as well as many lesser engagements and duties. His exploits in the black market at this time became the source of many amusing family stories. Following his Honorable Discharge from service, he was employed at the J.H. Williams Co. Plant in Buffalo, NY, retiring in 1985 after 40 years of service. During his employment he also became an honorary member of the US Steelworkers Union. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Inurnment will be at St. Stanislaus RC Cemetery in Buffalo on Thursday, (July 8) at 12 Noon. Arrangements by JOHN O.
