Roarke leaves Buffalo State, takes assistant AD post at Niagara

Sue Roarke stepped down after nine season as women’s basketball coach at Buffalo State to take a position as assistant director of athletics for NCAA compliance at Niagara University.

Roarke guided the Bengals to an overall recored of 118-114 and made the SUNYAC playoffs six times. In 2011-12, Buffalo State was 25-3 and claimed the conference regular-season title before losing in the league championship game. She was also Buffalo State’s Senior Woman Administrator.

Buffalo State is conducting a national search for her replacement.
