Daugherty elected chair of St. Bonaventure Board of Trustees

OLEAN – Robert Daugherty of Chatham, N.J., a retired partner with PricewaterhouseCoopershas been elected chair of St. Bonaventure University’s Board of Trustees.

Board officers also elected to one-year terms are: vice chair, Daniel Collins of Painted Post; vice chair, Kathleen (Pekar) Colucci of Middlebury, Conn.; and secretary, Laurie Branch of Olean.

“Our board as a whole represents a ‘Who’s Who’ among business, government, non-profit, religious, and educational leadership, and this slate of board officers is representative of this impressive profile,” said Bona President Sister Margaret Carney.

Daugherty, a member of the university’s Class of 1977, has served on the board since 2007. He served as vice chair of the board for the past three years under Raymond Dee and was chair of the successful $15 million School of Business campaign that led to the construction of the state-of-the-art William E. and Ann L. Swan Business Center, which opened in 2013.

During the past academic year, Daugherty was a member of the board’s Development and Ad Hoc Strategic Alliance committees.
