Where we live: Town of Tonawanda

Town of Tonawanda

Town and village residents who served in the military during the Vietnam War will be honored at 5:30 p.m. Thursday during a ceremony at Kenney Field.

The ceremony will be followed by a two-hour concert from the American Legion Band of the Tonawandas and a fireworks display sponsored by Tim Hortons, Carubba Collision and New Era Cap.

The town Youth, Parks and Recreation Department held a similar ceremony in 2013 to honor World War II veterans and in 2014 to honor Korean War veterans.
