Tonawanda woman pleads guilty to federal cocaine charges

A Tonawanda woman pleaded guilty Friday before U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to distribution of cocaine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas S. Duszkiewicz said the defendant, Gail Bishop, 44, arranged to purchase cocaine from a confidential government source at a Buffalo coffee shop in 2013. He said a subsequent search of the defendant’s residence recovered nearly 80 grams of cocaine.

Bishop’s guilty plea is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
