Woman already facing drug charges arrested on new counts

WARSAW – A 22-year-old woman from Hunt, N.Y., already free on bail on drug charges was arrested for allegedly having a supply of heroin and syringes after she was stopped for a traffic infraction Wednesday in the Town of Pike.

Samantha J. Warren was arrested on Dewitt road by Wyoming County Sheriff’s Sergeant Colin Reagan after he reported finding multiple baggies full of heroin and two used hypodermic syringes while pulling her over after a traffic infraction, Warren was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and having an uninspected vehicle. Her car was towed away and she was remainded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail after her arraignment in Pike Town Court. She faces further court proceedings in the new drug case June 16.
