Niagara Falls man pleads guilty to burglary

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man accepted a plea deal Thursday in Niagara County Court on a charge of burglary.

John E. McAllister III, 26, of Buffalo Avenue had been charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief.

He pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of third-degree burglary when he appeared before Judge Sara Sheldon and admitted he broke into a home on Ontario Avenue in the Falls on Aug. 7.

He will be sentenced on Aug. 17.
