JAMESTOWN -– Six student at Jamestown High School at 350 E.2nd St. have been charged in a break-in at the school early Tuesday that left damage throughout the building, the Jamestown Police reported Wednesday afternoon.
The six who allegedly broke into the school about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday were quickly identified after a fast-moving police investigation. All have all been charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal tampering, according to Police Capt. Robert Samuelson. The suspects will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court and their names will not be released pending a further investigation, the captain said.
