GAROFALO, Ralph F.

GAROFALO - Ralph F. Psychologist, Korean War Veteran, December 23, 1930 - May 25, 2015; Ralph F. Garofalo was a Korean War veteran who served as an officer in the 82nd Airborne Division. After his military service, he graduated with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Boston University. His career included teaching positions at his alma mater, a private practice and work for the Massachusetts Department of Corrections. A long time volunteer, he counseled Hospice patients in the Boston area. Upon moving to Buffalo, he dedicated his time to Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital where he spent over 20 years in various areas including the ER and Admissions. Ralph died as he lived, with dignity, courage and honor in the presence of those he loved. He considered his family to be his greatest accomplishment.
Mr. Garofalo was predeceased by daughter, Gina Camille Garofalo. He is survived by his wife, Wilmet, his daughter, Lisa (Morgan) Graham, granddaughters, Sarah and Virginia Graham and a brother, Dr. Michael Garofalo. "alla famiglia"....
