Cheektowaga motorist arrested on felony drug count after car stop

A 56-year-old Cheektowaga man was arrested on felony drug charges when Buffalo police pulled his car over after an improper turn at Edison and Weston avenues very early Tuesday.

James Bridges was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance outside its original container after officers reported finding in his vehicle over 200 oxycodone pills and $11,575.55 in cash. Bridges was also charged with traffic infractions for allegedly making an improper turn and having defective equipment on his automobile.
