Buffalo woman charged with felony identity theft

A 44-year-old Buffalo woman was charged with felony identity theft and petit larceny Tuesday following a weeks-long investigation into a town of Holland man’s complaint to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office about unauthorized charges to his credit card and the opening of an unauthorized National Fuel Gas account in his name, Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reported. Selina Loomis was arrested by Detective Daniel Brinkerhoff after an investigation into her alleged use of the Holland man’s name and social security number for her alleged criminal activity. She faces Buffalo City Court proceedings June 9, Sheriff Howard said.
