McGuire brokers sale of Rochester office park

Buffalo-based McGuire Development Co. brokered the $41 million sale of Calkins Corporate Park in the Rochester suburb of Henrietta, with the University of Rochester serving as the anchor tenant.

The 21.58-acre office park, with five Class A professional office buildings with 149,949 square feet of space, was acquired by Physicians Realty Trust, a “self-managed” health care real estate copmany that develops, owns and manages properties leased to physicians, hospitals and health care systems, according to McGuire broker Jim Geiger, who handled the deal. The firm now owns $1.05 billion in real estate assets, with more than 4, million square feet of medical space in 22 states.
