Buffalo man pleads guilty to distributing marijuana

A Buffalo man pleaded guilty Friday before U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Wei Xiang said William Key took part in a drug-trafficking network that distributed hundreds of pounds of marijuana in Buffalo and was on probation for a state drug conviction at the time of his arrest.

Key, one of five defendants in the case, is the fourth defendant to plead guilty. His plea is the result of an investigation by Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations and State Police.
