Two drivers were airlifted to Erie County Medical Center with serious injuries after their cars collided Wednesday morning in the Niagara County Town of Wilson.
The crash, in the area of Wilson Cambria and Brayley roads, was reported shortly before 8 a.m.
According to Capt. Bruce Elliott of the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, a car on Brayley Road was making a left turn onto northbound Wilson Cambria Road when it was hit by a car heading south on Wilson Cambria.
Elliott said both drivers were wearing seat belts and airbags in their cars deployed.
A section of Wilson Cambria Road/Route 425 has been closed as police investigate.
