Motorcycle run to benefit homeless veterans set for Saturday

A motorcycle run to benefit homeless veterans will roar through the streets of Erie and Wyoming counties on Saturday.

The Legion Riders of Post 735, American Legion, in West Seneca are hosting the annual Motorcycle Dice Run, which raises money and awareness of the plight of local homeless veterans. Proceeds will be used to buy specific items needed at Altamont House in Buffalo, which houses 34 people in transition.

The run begins at noon at Post 735’s parking lot, 35 Legion Parkway, and will end in the same location.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. and costs $15 for drivers, $10 for passengers and $10 for non-riders. The cost includes coffee and doughnuts in the morning, and all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausage and one beverage. Live entertainment will be provided by Alibi Pass.
