Albright-Knox releases interactive public art map

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery's public art program has been busy.

From "Shark Girl" to the glowing naked dudes perched atop steel poles that were unveiled at Canalside earlier this month, the county and city-funded program has already begun to visibly transform the visual landscape of the region.

International sculptor Jaume Plensa crafted “Silent Poets” from resin and gave them the ability to speak in colors.

To help public art fans appreciate that growth, the gallery has put together an interactive map that shows the locations and details of more than 20 public art projects, new and old, scattered across Erie County.
