Orchard Park lines up annual Memorial Day Parade

More than a dozen groups will join Orchard Park’s Memorial Day Parade, which begins at 9 a.m. May 25 at the library, 4570 South Buffalo St., and continues to West Quaker Street and Veterans Park.

Leah Berst, a 2013 Orchard Park High School graduate, will sing the Star Spangled Banner and Josef Iqbal, an eighth-grader at Orchard Park Middle School, will recite the Gettysburg Address.Col. Steven Parker, commander of the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, will speak.

Parade Participants are directed to meet at 8:30 a.m. behind the library and invited to the annual breakfast in the American Legion Hall, 3740 North Buffalo Road.
