Youngstown woman sentenced to time served in car smashing

LOCKPORT – A Youngstown woman who did $2,500 damage to a man’s car with a baseball bat on Oct. 8, 2013 in Niagara Falls was sentenced to time served Friday by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

Tammy L. Pawlukovich, 40, had served more than a year in jail for third-degree auto stripping and fourth-degree criminal mischief. She was placed in drug treatment for a time last year, but became involved in more legal trouble and assisted prosecutors with other cases.

In another case Friday, Murphy dismissed a gun possession indictment against Cody M. Graci, 20, of Woodlawn Avenue, Niagara Falls. He was the driver of a car that Falls police stopped after a June 28 fight. They found a loaded gun in the trunk and arrested Graci and three passengers. Eventually, Shaquan M. Shingledecker, 20, admitted to owning the gun and was sentenced Thursday to 2½ years in prison. The charges against the other two passengers had already been dismissed.
