The University at Buffalo’s men’s and women’s track teams set four school records during the second day of the Mid-American Conference outdoor championships, which are taking place in Muncie, Indiana.
Most of the men’s points came in the shot put, which was dominated by UB. Jonathan Jones broke the meet record with a 20.33-meter toss. Devon Patterson finished second with a throw of 18.15 meters, and Ryan Cribbin was third at 18.10.
Ryan Billian broke one UB record and tied another. He ran 10.35 in the 100-meter dash to top Miles Lewis’ 2013 mark (10.37), while his 21.09 time in the 200 tied Brian Smith’s 2010 record.
Tyra Forbes broke Jamiee McClary’s 2012 school record of 11.84 in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.83, while Camaria broke her own mark in the 200-meter run with a 23.58.
The men are in fourth place, while the women are ninth.
