May 15, 1995: Jim Kelley on the Sabres' bowing out of the playoffs … again

As News Hockey Writer Jim Kelley predicted in this piece, the Sabres would lose in 5 games to the Flyers in the opening round of the 1994-95 playoffs.

Since at least 1975, the Flyers have been among the most hated sports teams in Buffalo, but Kelley was jealous. With Eric Lindros and company, the fun-to-watch, talented Flyers were the team the Sabres had spent most of the '80s and '90s trying to build.

"Flyers succeed while Sabres can only dream"

"Right now it's fun to be in Philadelphia. Can any hockey fan in Buffalo say they're enjoying any of this?"
