Countryside Garden Club of Elma will hold its ninth annual perennial plant sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Old Town Hall, Rice and Bowen roads, Elma.

Smallwood Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith United Church of Christ, 1300 Maple Road (corner of Hopkins Road), Amherst. Annuals, perennials, herbs and hanging baskets. The club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Blocher Homes, 135 Evans St., Williamsville. Marcia Becker, director of District 8, Federated Garden Clubs of New York State Inc., will present “Taking the Mystery Out of FGCNY.” Roseann Sokolski will instruct members on the care and maintenance of the Smallwood Drive coleus. Public welcome.

East Park Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Grand Island Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island.

Orchard Park Garden Club will hold its annual spring plant sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Orchard Park Railroad Depot, behind the Orchard Park library. Annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, accent plants and hanging baskets will be available.

Silver Creek Hanover Garden Club will host its annual Garden Faire from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the park and gazebo on Main Street and Central Avenue, Silver Creek. Plants, birdhouses, herbal delights and more. For information, call 934-7608.

The Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens will conduct the Great Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 2655 South Park Ave., in the Administration Building. Highlights include hanging baskets, ornamental trees and shrubs, Japanese maples, annuals, perennials and more. Event is free. The Botanical Gardens will host a Medicinal Garden Feature from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Cost is included with admission to the Gardens. Visit buffalogardens.com.

Bud ’n Bloom Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale and raffle of flowering bushes to benefit Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Butternut Hollow Barn, Route 20, Portland, across from the Cooperative Extension.

The Hull House annual plant sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 5962 Genesee St., Lancaster. Plant donations will be accepted from noon to 4 p.m. Friday.

Linwood Gardens will feature the historic collection of tree peonies in a Festival of Flowers from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24 and May 30 and 31 at 1912 York Road, Pavilion. Suggested contribution, $8. Guided tours $12. Visit linwoodgardens.org.

The Parkside Community Association will present the 17th annual Parkside Tour of Homes from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The Arts & Crafts home featured in the Fall 2014 American Bungalow magazine will be featured along with eight other homes. The Gardener’s Cottage and Barton House on the Darwin Martin House complex also will be on the tour. Tickets are $15 in advance for PCA members ($25 on Sunday) and $20 for nonmembers ($30 on Sunday). Judges Council of 8th District of Federated Garden Clubs of New York State will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday in Brighton Community Church, 1225 Brighton Road, Town of Tonawanda. The business meeting will be followed by an auction of garden and design treasures with auctioneer Bev Walsh from the Orchard Park Garden Club. Horticulture exhibits will include cut specimens of flowering bulbs, perennials, branches and container-grown plants. The Design exhibit, a creative still life, is titled “Garden Walk.” The horticulture project will be distributed.

Williamsville Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at the home of club president Gloria Gannon, 110 Fruitwood Terrace, Amherst. Bird identification and habits will be studied.

Cinderella Isle Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2100 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. Connie Oswald Stofko, publisher of Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com will present “45 Gardening Tips in 45 Minutes.” A plant exchange is planned. Guests welcome.
