Man in critical condition after Plymouth Avenue shooting, second shooting reported in South Buffalo

A 41-year-old man remains in critical condition in Erie County Medical Center after being shot just after 9 p.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of Plymouth Avenue, police said.

The man’s identity has not been released and an investigation into the West Side shooting continues.

A second shooting occurred hours later at about 12:45 a.m. Thursday in South Buffalo at Cazenovia and Seneca streets. An 18-year-old, who also has not been identified, was taken to Mercy Hospital with a non-life threatening hand wound, police said.
