NORTH TONAWANDA – The Herschell Carousell Museum is looking for volunteer ride operators for its Kiddieland Testing Park, which will open for the summer on Memorial Day weekend.
The museum needs volunteers who enjoy working with young children. Several shifts need to be filled.
Kiddieland includes the Allan Herschell wet boat ride, car and fire truck ride, pony car ride and helicopter ride.
Volunteers are always needed. If operating the ride does not interest you, the museum also has volunteer opportunities for admission greeters, event helpers and tour guides.
Current museum hours are Wednesdays through Sundays, from noon to 4 p.m. Admission to the museum includes admission to Kiddieland on days when it is open.
Call the museum at 693-1885 or visit www.carrouselmuseum.org for details on volunteering or visiting the museum at 180 Thompson St.
