Eichel tells IIHF that his heart will tell him whether to go pro

It turns out there was more to Jack Eichel's infamous interview than Olga Khmylev draping a Sabres T-shirt across his chest.

After Eichel scored the game-winning goal in overtime Tuesday, the IIHF put up the video of Khmylev's sitdown with Eichel. He talked about his experiences and his future. The Sabres are expected to draft him second overall, but he could return to Boston University for his sophomore season.

"It's going to be my own decision at the end of the day," Eichel said in the video. "I think my heart will tell me what to do."

The 18-year-old has certainly looked ready for the NHL with two goals and six points in his last five games.

"It's been a really good experience," Eichel said. "It's just been a lot of fun for me to be around the professional hockey players and learn a lot from them and play at this level."

The video of the interview is below.
