LOCKPORT – Richard P. Vance, who is awaiting sentencing in a burglary case, was arraigned Monday in Niagara County Court on a six-count drug indictment.
Vance, 46, of Spalding Street, Lockport, pleaded not guilty to three counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fifth-degree sale and one count of fourth-degree sale.
Assistant District Attorney Laura T. Bittner said Vance allegedly sold Suboxone and pain pills Aug. 27 and Dec. 22 in Lockport. The latter case came after his arraignment on the burglary charge.
Vance pleaded guilty March 4 to a reduced charge of attempted second-degree burglary for stealing more than $11,000 worth of property from a house on his street during a 3 1/2-month period last year.
