VEZMAR, Branko

VEZMAR - Branko Age 93, a life long resident of the City of Tonawanda, May 9, 2015, husband of the late Stella (nee Morains) Vezmar; brother of the late Savetta Vezmar and Dushon "Dewey" Vezmar; he is survived by his nephews John (Jeri) and Michael Vezmar and his very dear friends Jim and June (Brider) Merwin and Dan and Faye (Brider) Brady. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 4-7:30 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St., (between Morgan and Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 Tuesday evening following the visitation. Friends invited. A private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Serbian Orthodox Church, 177 Weber Rd., Lackawanna, NY 14218. Branko was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in France and Germany. He was a member of St. Stephen's Serbian Orthodox Church, the Serbian Club and a life member of the Union Hook & Ladder Hose Co. He had been employed as a dishwasher and candymaker at Zeffery's Luncheonette, Robert Gair Paper Mill, International Paper Co. and retired as a Pump Operator for the City of Tonawanda
Water Dept. He was a frequent contributor of the Seneca Niagara Casino
and was the last of the Goose Island Gang in Tonawanda.
